Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and digitally-savvy Customer Account Manager to join the front lines of the OmniRetail expansion in Abuja. In the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and B2B e-commerce sector, success is defined by "Ecosystem Density", the ability to not just onboard retailers, but to integrate them into a digital-first supply chain. This role is designed for a "Market Catalyst" who can blend "Field Grit" with the technical patience required to educate traditional retailers on the OmniBiz app and value-added services.
Your mission is to ensure "Sustainable Retailer Engagement and Transactional Growth." Operating across key Abuja hubs—from Kubwa and Gwarimpa to Jabi and Lugbe, you will be the primary engine of our retail network: responsible for high-fidelity KYC onboarding, daily field visits, and proactive relationship management. Requirements:
1. Retailer Onboarding & Digital Migration
Ecosystem Expansion: Actively identify and onboard new retailers and Omniclub Members into the OmniRetail platform, expanding our footprint within assigned territories.
App Advocacy: Lead the digital transformation of traditional retailers by educating them on how to navigate the OmniBiz app and utilize value-added services effectively.
KYC Stewardship: Ensure 100% accuracy in the customer onboarding process, meticulously completing all Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements to maintain platform integrity.
2. Relationship Governance & Territory Management
Field Presence: Conduct daily physical visits and meetings with retailers within your assigned Abuja hub (e.g., Dei Dei, Zuba, or Mpape) to maintain high brand visibility.
Engagement Engineering: Monitor active customer accounts and provide ongoing support to ensure retailers maintain regular purchase patterns and high engagement levels.
Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints, resolving friction points on-site or escalating complex issues to ensure a seamless experience.
3. Performance Reporting & Continuous Learning
Data Transparency: Submit detailed daily activity reports, capturing market insights, visit outcomes, and retailer feedback to inform regional strategy.
Operational Alignment: Participate in periodic company trainings, reviews, and performance assessments to stay updated on new product features and sales methodologies.
Territory Strategy: Analyze territory-specific trends to prioritize high-potential retail clusters and optimize daily travel routes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Field Marketing, preferably within the FMCG or B2B Tech sectors.
Technical Savvy: High comfort level with smartphone applications and the ability to teach non-technical users how to use digital tools.
Location Edge: In-depth geographical knowledge of the assigned Abuja territory (e.g., Kubwa, Jabi, Utako, etc.) is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Field Grit: The physical and mental stamina to maintain a rigorous daily field schedule across diverse FCT locations.
Communication Synergy: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly with small-scale and large-scale retailers.
