About Company:
We bridge the financial gap for individuals by providing fast loans with competitive interest rates and without discrimination.
Job Description:
We are seeking an analytically rigorous, assertive, and highly diplomatic Collection Supervisor to lead our debt recovery framework and optimize portfolio health. In this pivotal risk-management role, you will hold direct accountability for minimizing Non-Performing Loans (NPLs), accelerating capital recovery, and safeguarding corporate liquidity.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between deep financial data analytics (trend mapping, portfolio seasoning, delinquency aging) and empathetic team leadership. You must possess the strategic acumen to design high-yield recovery workflows and the psychological intelligence to de-escalate high-stakes client conflicts, ensuring all recovery practices strictly preserve institutional reputation and consumer protection regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
1. Portfolio Engineering & Recovery Strategy
Strategic Recovery Architecture: Design, deploy, and iterate comprehensive debt recovery strategies across various stages of delinquency (Early-stage, Mid-stage, and Write-offs) to aggressively maximize recovery rates.
Data-Driven Segmentation: Analyze customer repayment behavior, credit scoring data, and historical trends to segment delinquent accounts into distinct risk profiles, tailoring contact strategies accordingly.
Process Optimization: Continuously audit end-to-end collection workflows, identifying structural bottlenecks and introducing automation or refined call scripts to scale operational throughput.
2. Performance Leadership & Team Governance
Tactical Command: Lead, motivate, and manage a high-velocity team of collection officers, driving individual accountability to hit daily, weekly, and monthly liquidation targets.
Coaching & Call Calibration: Conduct routine call listening sessions and performance audits, providing tactical coaching, negotiation framework adjustments, and behavioral feedback to team members.
KPI Engineering: Establish crystal-clear individual performance benchmarks, tracking daily metrics including Promise-to-Pay (PTP) ratios, call attempts, and conversion rates.
3. Escalation Management & Customer Relations
High-Stakes Dispute Resolution: Serve as the senior authority on the floor for handling escalated debtor grievances, complex settlement negotiations, and structural waiver requests.
Brand Protection: Cultivate firm yet highly professional and respectful communication cadences with customers, ensuring recovery operations never alienate potentially restructurable clients.
4. Analytical Reporting & Executive Briefing
Portfolio Health Tracking: Compile, analyze, and present comprehensive credit portfolio reports directly to executive risk committees, mapping Roll Rates, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and net recovery yields.
KPI Monitoring: Maintain close surveillance over vital operational indexes, providing data-backed forecasting models to predict future cash inflows from delinquent portfolios.
5. Regulatory Compliance & Legal Liaison
Regulatory Alignment: Enforce 100% compliance with consumer protection frameworks, fair debt collection practices, and overriding Central Bank or federal financial regulations.
Legal Coordination: Stay systematically updated on local bankruptcy, credit reporting, and debt recovery legislation. Partner with corporate legal teams to seamlessly transition uncooperative, high-value delinquent accounts into formal litigation pipelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Academic Foundation
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a strictly related quantitative discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience & Proven Track Record
Domain Longevity: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive, verifiable experience operating within a structured debt collection environment, with at least 1–2 years in a direct supervisor or team lead capacity.
Sector Footprint: Direct experience managing recoveries within commercial banking, FinTech lending platforms, microfinance institutions (MFIs), or dedicated corporate asset management firms is strictly required.
