Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to serve as the chief architect of our digital future. In an industry defined by risk and trust, your mission is to leverage technology—from AI-driven underwriting to seamless mobile claims—to turn IT into a competitive powerhouse.

You will lead the modernization of our core insurance systems, safeguard our digital assets against evolving cyber threats, and drive a culture of innovation that puts the customer at the center of every digital journey. Requirements:

1. Digital Transformation & Modernization

• Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with long-term business growth and operational efficiency.

• Core Systems Evolution: Lead the transition from legacy insurance systems to agile, cloud-native enterprise architectures that support retail, corporate, and bancassurance channels.

• Product Digitization: Partner with business units to automate underwriting, claims processing, and self-service portals, ensuring a "frictionless" customer experience.

2. Infrastructure, Data, & Innovation

• Cloud & Continuity: Oversee the management of high-availability cloud platforms and data centers, ensuring 99.9% uptime for business-critical systems.

• Data Intelligence: Establish robust data governance and enterprise architecture frameworks. Empower actuarial and finance teams with advanced analytics, BI dashboards, and actionable data insights.

• Emerging Tech: Advise the Board and Executive Management on the impact of AI, Machine Learning, and Blockchain on the insurance value chain.

3. Governance, Cybersecurity, & Compliance

• Defensive Strategy: Implement world-class cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001) and incident response protocols to protect customer data and digital assets.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all technology deployments strictly adhere to NAICOM guidelines, NDPR (Data Protection), and other relevant financial regulations.

• Risk Resilience: Conduct rigorous vulnerability testing and maintain a robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Qualifications and Skills:

The Ideal Candidate

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. A Master’s degree or MBA is highly advantageous.

• Seniority: 12–15 years of progressive IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a C-Suite or Senior Executive role.

• Sector IQ: Proven experience in Financial Services (Insurance, Banking, or Fintech) is non-negotiable.

Technical Credentials & Certifications Highly desirable certifications include:

• Architecture: TOGAF

• Security: CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

• Project/Process: PMP, Lean Six Sigma

• Cloud: AWS or Azure Solution Architect
