Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Manager to spearhead our market expansion and portfolio growth. In this role, you will be the primary engine for business origination, responsible for identifying high-value lending opportunities and mobilizing the funding structures necessary to support them.

You will act as a strategic bridge between our institutional goals and the market, managing complex relationships with high-net-worth clients, corporate partners, and regulatory bodies. If you possess sharp commercial judgment, a deep understanding of credit processes, and the grit to drive growth in a competitive financial landscape, we want you to lead our business development efforts.

Requirements:

1. Business Origination & Relationship Management

  • Deal Sourcing: Proactively originate high-quality lending opportunities by identifying and engaging with credit-worthy corporate and institutional clients.

  • Portfolio Stewardship: Build and maintain an unshakeable network of strategic partnerships to ensure long-term loyalty and repeat business.

  • Client Advisory: Act as a consultant to prospective clients, structuring financial solutions that align their business needs with our institutional risk appetite.

2. Funding Mobilization & Strategic Growth

  • Capital Sourcing: Lead initiatives to mobilize funding from diverse sources, ensuring the organization has the liquidity required to meet lending targets.

  • Growth Execution: Execute scalable growth initiatives and market entry strategies based on deep-dive industry insights and economic trends.

  • Product Innovation: Provide feedback to the product team to refine lending products based on real-time market demands and competitor analysis.

3. Risk Governance & Commercial Judgment

  • Credit Analysis: Work closely with the risk team to evaluate the viability of lending opportunities, ensuring all deals meet internal credit standards and profitability metrics.

  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all business origination and funding activities are in strict compliance with national financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and escalate potential commercial or reputational risks at the earliest stage of the business lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in business development, lending, investment banking, or a related financial services role.

  • Technical IQ: Strong knowledge of lending products, credit processes, and diverse funding structures.

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in banking or credit are an advantage.
