Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber, proactive Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives and expand our market footprint. In this role, you will be the primary driver of new client acquisition and the guardian of existing high-value partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying white-space opportunities, crafting compelling business proposals, and leading negotiations to secure maximum revenue. Beyond individual sales, you will act as a mentor, equipping our staff with the technical and social skills required to deliver a world-class sales experience. If you are a strategic negotiator with a pulse on market trends, we want you to lead our expansion.
Requirements:
1. Market Expansion & Lead Acquisition
Direct Prospecting: Actively procure new clients through a blend of direct outreach, leveraging word-of-mouth networks, and strategic collaboration with the marketing team.
Strategic Networking: Attend high-profile industry events and networking activities to research and connect with prospective key accounts.
Trend Analysis: Remain attuned to evolving consumption trends to ensure our product and service offerings remain competitive and relevant.
2. Relationship Management & Revenue Growth
Client Retention: Maintain deep, meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term retention and brand loyalty.
Strategic Up-selling: Identify opportunities to suggest upgrades or additional services that align with client goals and increase lifetime account value.
Contract Excellence: Craft sophisticated business proposals and contracts designed to secure attractive pricing while delivering clear value to the client.
Feedback Integration: Rigorously review client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to implement changes that improve the customer experience.
3. Negotiation & Sales Leadership
Value Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations to secure the most attractive pricing and terms for the company.
Team Enablement: Act as a "Player-Coach," equipping the broader sales and support staff with the technical product knowledge and social skills needed to enhance overall sales performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience & Background
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
History: Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
