Job Description:

Invent Alliance Limited is seeking a reliable, hands-on Facility Operative to ensure the seamless operation of our essential utilities and infrastructure. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our facility’s uptime, responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining critical equipment such as generators, water pumps, and treatment plants. You will serve as a first-line responder for minor repairs and a vigilant monitor of equipment health. Requirements:

1. Utility Operations & Equipment Monitoring

• System Operation: Actively operate and monitor industrial pumps, generators, and utility plants to ensure 100% service continuity.

• Performance Tracking: Vigilantly track equipment performance, identifying abnormalities or noises that signal potential failure.

• Incident Reporting: Promptly report faults or inefficiencies to the technical team or external vendors to prevent service interruptions.

2. Maintenance & First-Line Repairs

• Preventive Support: Execute and follow up on scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespans.

• Minor Technical Repairs: Carry out basic electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs within safety guidelines (e.g., changing sockets, fixing leaks, or replacing hinges).

• Corrective Action: Assist senior technicians and vendors during major corrective maintenance activities to ensure quick resolution of faults.

3. Inspections, Safety & Reporting

• Routine Patrols: Conduct systematic inspections of the building, equipment, and premises to ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for use.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily operational logs and submit detailed incidence and inspection reports to management.

• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a zero-accident work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Qualification: OND, Trade Test, or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Prior experience operating generators, industrial pumps, or utility equipment is a significant advantage.

• Location: Candidates must reside within the Ajah or Sangotedo environs for ease of shift transitions.

Core Skills & Attributes

• Technical Literacy: Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems with the ability to diagnose common faults.

• Logistics & Reporting: Good record-keeping skills for tracking fuel consumption, run-hours, and maintenance dates.

• Physical Readiness: Must be physically fit and willing to work a rotating shift schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.

• Reliability: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards.
