Job Description:
- We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and execution-focused Brand Manager to build, launch, and scale the brand of our new e-hailing platform.
- This role is critical to shaping how riders and drivers perceive, trust, and engage with our brand, from launch messaging to long-term brand loyalty.
- The Brand Manager will own brand strategy, storytelling, visual identity, and market positioning while working closely with marketing, product, operations, and customer experience teams.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning:
- Develop and execute a clear brand strategy aligned with the company’s mission, values, and growth goals
- Define brand voice, tone, personality, and positioning for riders, drivers, and partners
- Ensure consistent brand expression across all touchpoints (app, website, social media, offline materials)
Launch & Growth Marketing:
- Lead brand launch campaigns (digital, outdoor, experiential, partnerships)
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams to align brand storytelling with user acquisition
- Support market entry strategies for new cities or regions
Content & Communications:
- Oversee brand messaging, storytelling, and content direction
- Work with designers, copywriters, and agencies to produce high-quality brand assets
- Manage PR, media relations, influencer collaborations, and community engagement
Customer & Driver Experience:
- Work closely with CX and Operations teams to ensure brand promises match real experiences
- Develop brand-led initiatives to improve driver loyalty and rider trust
- Monitor customer feedback and market sentiment to refine brand approach
Brand Governance:
- Create and manage brand guidelines and ensure compliance across teams
- Review and approve marketing materials, partnerships, and campaigns
- Protect and strengthen brand reputation, especially during high-visibility moments or crises
Market & Performance Insights:
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify differentiation opportunities
- Track brand health metrics (awareness, sentiment, loyalty, NPS)
- Use insights to continuously refine brand strategy
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Brand awareness and perception metrics
- Rider and driver engagement levels
- Consistency and quality of brand execution
- Campaign performance and market impact
- Growth in brand trust and loyalty indicators
Requirements:
Experience & Skills:
- 4 - 7 years’ experience in brand management, marketing, or communications
- Experience in tech, mobility, fintech, or fast-growing startups is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to build or reposition a brand, preferably from early stage
- Strong storytelling, copywriting, and creative direction skills
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media, and consumer behaviour.
