We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- The Creative Lead oversees the conception, development, and execution of all creative projects within the organization.
- This role combines hands-on design expertise with leadership, ensuring all creative outputs meet the CEO’s standard of quality, originality, and strategic relevance.
- The Creative Lead manages the creative team, directs brainstorming sessions, supervises design production, and ensures all creative work aligns with brand standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Concept Development:
- Lead the creative process from concept to final execution across print, digital, and campaign materials.
- Translate client briefs and marketing objectives into compelling creative concepts that strengthen brand positioning.
- Ensure all creative outputs reflect originality, strategic relevance, and visual excellence as defined by company standards.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Manage and mentor designers,and other creative team members to deliver high-quality work.
- Review and approve all creative materials, designs, and logos to ensure they meet professional and brand standards.
- Assign project workloads, monitor progress, and ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Conduct regular brainstorming and creative sessions to drive innovation and fresh ideas.
Quality Control & Brand Management:
- Maintain strict adherence to brand identity, design guidelines, and client requirements.
- Ensure all copy, visuals, and design elements are accurate, error-free, and suitable for production.
- Develop, implement, and enforce creative and brand standards for consistency across all materials.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, strategy, and client service teams to align creative work with broader campaign goals.
- Provide clear creative direction and feedback to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and opportunities to management promptly.
Research & Innovation:
- Stay informed on design trends, marketing techniques, and creative technologies.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance creative quality and process efficiency.
- Encourage a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth within the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in graphic design, branding, or creative leadership.
- Proven experience in a printing and branding company or similar production-driven environment is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- CorelDRAW
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design tools
- Motion graphics
- Strong understanding of:
- Print production processes
- CMYK/RGB color management
- Large-format and commercial printing requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a creative team.
- Strong eye for detail and quality control.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Practical, solutions-driven mindset.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Performance for this role will be measured based on:
- Creative Excellence: Maintain a minimum average score of 4.5/5 on the quality, originality, and strategic relevance of all creative outputs, in line with the CEO’s standard of excellence.
- Timeliness: Achieve 100% on-time delivery of all assigned creative projects and campaigns.
- Accuracy & Quality Control: Maintain zero avoidable errors and ensure all designs and copy meet professional and brand standards.
- Innovation: Contribute at least two (2) fresh and original creative ideas or campaign concepts each month.
- Team Leadership: Ensure 95% or higher adherence to project deadlines among team members and maintain a minimum 4/5 rating on teamwork and collaboration.
- Process Efficiency: Keep creative rework or revision rates below 5% through effective supervision and clear direction.
- Brainstorming & Ideation: Conduct a minimum of two (2) creative sessions monthly to drive innovation.
- Professional Development: Encourage and ensure participation in one (1) creative learning or capacity-building activity per quarter.
Salary
