We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
Financial Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely posting of all financial transactions into the accounting system (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho).
- Maintain general ledger accounts and support month-end/year-end close processes.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and supplier payments.
- Track customer invoices, follow up on outstanding receivables, and ensure proper documentation.
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable balances regularly.
Bank & Cash Management:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash position reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of cash advances, receipts, and deposits.
Compliance & Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Company Income Tax).
- Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
- Support internal and external audit processes with relevant documentation.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze variances and provide financial insights to management.
- Monitor departmental spending against budget.
Internal Controls & Documentation:
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all financial records.
- Review and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years relevant experience (HMO or service industry experience is an advantage).
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho).
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role (Monday–Friday).
- May require occasional extended work hours during audits, month-end, or year-end activities.
