Job Description:

We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Supply Assistant to join our team in Abuja. In this role, you will provide essential support to our supply chain and logistics operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that materials and goods are available when and where they are needed to keep our operations running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of stock levels, monitoring inventory movement, and performing regular stock counts.

  • Supply Coordination: Support the procurement process by coordinating with suppliers, preparing purchase requisitions, and tracking incoming deliveries.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all supply activities, including delivery notes, invoices, and waybills.

  • Logistics Support: Assist in the organization of warehouse space and the distribution of materials to internal departments or clients as required.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory or supply chain processes to your supervisor promptly.

  • Compliance: Ensure all supply operations adhere to company safety and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a supply chain, inventory, or administrative role is preferred.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Organizational Skills: You are meticulous and able to keep track of multiple tasks and data points simultaneously.

    • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and basic experience with inventory or ERP software.

    • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with internal team members and external suppliers/vendors.

    • Attention to Detail: You possess a keen eye for numbers and documentation accuracy.

    • Reliability: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to punctuality and deadlines.
