Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our innovative solutions and our enterprise clients in Lagos. In this role, you are not just a salesperson; you are a technical advisor and a value architect. Your mission is to partner with our Sales Executives to navigate complex sales cycles, transforming dense technical requirements into compelling business cases.
You will own the technical "win." From managing high-stakes RFP responses to delivering masterful product demos that simplify complex concepts, you will be the primary authority on how our technology solves real-world pain points for senior executives. If you have a solid background in software and web technologies and the charisma to forge long-lasting executive relationships, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Solution Architecture & Business Case Modeling
Strategic Partnership: Work alongside Sales Executives to plan and execute strategic deals within long and complex enterprise sales cycles.
Financial Modeling: Build the financial business case for each opportunity, demonstrating the Return on Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to prospect accounts.
Requirement Mapping: Successfully diagnose customer "pain points" and map them directly to our technical solutions.
2. Technical Evangelism & Demos
Presentation Mastery: Create and deliver powerful, creative presentations and live demos that articulate our unique value proposition in an easy-to-understand manner.
RFP/RFI Governance: Take full ownership of the technical aspects of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI), ensuring precision and competitive positioning.
R&D Liaison: Translate client needs and field feedback into actionable insights for the R&D teams to drive future product enhancements.
3. Market Intelligence & Relationship Building
Competitive Intelligence: Systematically collect and document competitive data to help the team pivot strategy during active deals.
Executive Presence: Forge and maintain long-lasting relationships with C-Suite executives and senior technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or OND in a technical or business-related field.
Experience: Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer with a track record of selling complex enterprise solutions (Software, SaaS, or Web Technologies).
Technical IQ: Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and web technologies.
Core Competencies
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to explain "the how" and "the why" to non-technical audiences.
Creativity: Ability to design unique demos and presentations that stand out in a crowded market.
Mobility: Willingness to travel across the region to support field sales efforts.
Salary
