Job Description:
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Associate to drive the expansion of our logistics and truck operating lease portfolio. In this role, you will be a strategic growth engine, bridging the gap between our fleet capabilities and the supply chain needs of corporate clients.
Your mission is to identify high-value opportunities in trucking logistics and international trade, proposing "Asset-Light" solutions to clients through our operating lease services. If you have 2–4 years of experience in the logistics or leasing sector and a track record of converting cold leads into long-term partnerships, we invite you to help us scale our operations.
Requirements:
1. Market Expansion & Lead Generation
Strategic Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trucking, hauling, and international trade sectors.
Pipeline Architecture: Build and manage a high-velocity pipeline of corporate leads through disciplined research, professional networking, and cold outreach.
Competitor Intelligence: Conduct regular market research to monitor competitor pricing and fleet services, ensuring our value proposition remains superior.
2. Client Acquisition & Leasing Solutions
Consultative Selling: Present tailored truck operating lease and logistics solutions that solve client pain points regarding asset management and transportation efficiency.
Proposal Mastery: Prepare professional bids, sales materials, and detailed proposals that clearly articulate the ROI of our leasing and logistics services.
Relationship Stewardship: Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, transitioning them from "Prospects" to "Partners" through exceptional service delivery.
3. Performance Tracking & CRM Governance
Data-Driven Sales: Utilize CRM tools to meticulously track every client interaction, ensuring no opportunity falls through the cracks.
Sales Analytics: Provide management with regular updates on sales performance, conversion rates, and the health of the business development pipeline.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the Operations and Finance teams to ensure fleet availability and credit terms align with client requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience: 2–4 years of proven success in business development or sales, specifically within the logistics, trucking, or leasing industries.
Industry IQ: Strong understanding of logistics operations, international trade dynamics, and the mechanics of operating lease agreements.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Skills: Ability to navigate complex contract discussions and close high-value deals.
Communication: Masterful presentation and writing skills, capable of influencing senior-level decision-makers.
Tech Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel for pricing models; PowerPoint for pitches) and CRM software.
Drive: Self-motivated with a "hunter" mindset and a relentless focus on revenue growth.
