Job Description:
We are seeking a commercially astute Business Development Executive to spearhead the expansion of our enterprise legal technology portfolio. In an era of rapid digital transformation, you will be the primary catalyst for modernizing legal operations across Nigeria’s corporate and institutional landscape.
This is a high-stakes, consultative sales role. You won't just be selling software; you will be selling efficiency, compliance, and innovation to senior decision-makers (General Counsel, COOs, and Government Executives). If you have a proven track record in complex B2B sales and the leadership grit to shape a winning sales strategy from the ground up, we want you to lead our growth.
Requirements:
1. Enterprise Sales & Market Acquisition
Strategic Prospecting: Identify and penetrate high-value enterprise accounts in the corporate, government, and institutional sectors.
Complex Deal Management: Navigate long-lead B2B sales cycles, managing stakeholders from initial contact through technical demonstration to final contract execution.
Bespoke Proposals: Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and tailored proposals that address the specific pain points of legal departments.
2. Strategic Leadership & Market Intelligence
Sales Architecture: Develop and execute scalable sales strategies aligned with organizational growth and the evolving Nigerian legal-tech ecosystem.
Competitive Moating: Conduct rigorous market intelligence and competitor analysis to refine our value proposition and stay ahead of market shifts.
Team Mentorship: Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
3. Relationship Management & Retention
Stakeholder Advocacy: Build and nurture deep, long-term partnerships with C-suite executives and key influencers to ensure long-term client loyalty.
Pipeline Governance: Maintain a pristine sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM tools, ensuring data-driven decision-making for the leadership team.
Retention Strategy: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product adoption and maximize client lifetime value (LTV).
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven success in B2B enterprise sales. Direct experience in Legal Tech or SaaS is a major advantage.
Track Record: Documented history of consistently meeting or exceeding high-value revenue targets.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Grit: Mastery of high-level negotiation techniques and the ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
Tech Fluency: A genuine interest in digital transformation and the ability to explain technical legal solutions in business terms.
Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the confidence to command a boardroom.
