Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-obsessed Sales Hunter to drive the expansion of our solar technology across Nigeria. This is not a "desk job." We are looking for a market-maker who knows how to navigate the busy electronics hubs of Alaba, Onitsha, or Lagos Island, and combine that "on-the-ground" hustle with modern digital prospecting.
As a Sales Hunter, you are the frontline of our business. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential wholesalers and installers, pitching our technical edge, and closing high-volume deals. If you are a self-starter who speaks the language of the market and has the grit to turn cold leads into long-term loyal partners, this is your platform to earn unlimited commissions.
Requirements:
1. Digital & Field Prospecting (The Hunt)
Lead Generation: Use digital tools (Google Maps, LinkedIn, Facebook) to map out and identify solar distributors, wholesalers, and retail installers across the federation.
Market Penetration: Physically visit major electronics and renewable energy hubs to build "face-to-face" trust with key market players.
Sales Pipeline Management: Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle—from initial cold outreach and site assessment to final closing and payment collection.
2. B2B Relationship & Account Management
Wholesaler Onboarding: Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contracts to bring new large-scale distributors into the fold.
Technical Advocacy: Educate clients on our product’s technical superiority, explaining why our solutions outperform local competitors in the Nigerian climate.
Loyalty Engineering: Maintain consistent touchpoints with existing partners to ensure repeat orders and prevent "brand switching."
3. Market Intelligence & Reporting
Data Discipline: Maintain a meticulous daily log of customer interactions, market trends, and competitor pricing using Google Sheets and WhatsApp.
Feedback Loop: Provide real-time insights from the field to help the management team refine our product and pricing strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 1–3 years of proven sales experience. Experience in the Nigerian Solar or Electronics industry is a massive advantage.
Digital Fluency: Highly proficient in using WhatsApp, Google Maps, and Social Media for business lead generation and communication.
Language Skills: Fluent in English. Ability to speak Igbo or Yoruba is highly preferred for deep market penetration.
