Job Description:
Roche Diagnostics Nigeria is offering a high-impact, 12-month internship for a driven individual ready to bridge the gap between financial accuracy and supply chain efficiency. In the healthcare sector, every invoice processed and every shipment cleared directly impacts patient lives.
You will not just be "assisting"; you will be an active contributor within a global leader’s ecosystem. Your mission is to support the seamless flow of diagnostic solutions across Nigeria and export markets by ensuring financial documentation is pristine and the supply chain is agile.
Requirements:
1. Integrated Finance & Accounting Support
Audit Readiness: Assist in organizing documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring a "zero-gap" approach to internal controls.
Accounting Operations: Support the end-to-end processing of invoices, collation of delivery documents, and account reconciliations to facilitate timely payments.
Financial Intelligence: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and maintain up-to-date databases to support executive decision-making.
2. Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
Import/Export Governance: Support the management of critical trade documentation, including Form M, PAAR, and SONCAP, to ensure regulatory compliance for medical equipment.
3PL Liaison: Coordinate with Third-Party Logistics partners to ensure swift shipment clearance and accurate recording of Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
Stock Stewardship: Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly stock reports and oversee the execution of physical stock counts to ensure system-to-floor accuracy.
3. Administrative & Customer Excellence
Customer Interaction: Handle invoice submission and proactive follow-ups for key customers to maintain healthy accounts receivable.
Regional Logistics: Collate and transmit shipping documents for Export Markets, facilitating Roche’s broader African reach.
Records Management: Ensure all financial and supply chain records are meticulously filed and easily retrievable for compliance purposes.
Qualifications and Skills:
The Ideal Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Status: Must have successfully completed NYSC.
Technical Savvy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must). Familiarity with SAP is a major plus.
Core Competencies
Analytical Mindset: The ability to spot discrepancies in stock reports or financial statements.
Operational Discipline: High attention to detail, especially when handling complex import/export documentation.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to effectively liaise with 3PL partners and internal teams.
