Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and technically-minded Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production process—from raw material preparation and machine setup to quality testing and final packaging. This is an active, "hands-on" position that requires not only the ability to operate machinery but also the analytical skill to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance to prevent downtime. Requirements:

1. Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Machine Setup: Perform equipment adjustments and setup to meet safety and efficiency standards before production starts.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and carry out minor representative maintenance tasks during shifts.

• Status Reporting: Provide accurate reports on production equipment conditions and performance to management.

2. Production & Material Handling

• Feeding & Assembly: Feed raw materials into machinery and assemble goods on the production line with precision.

• Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor production runs to ensure products meet all quality and testing benchmarks.

• Logistics Support: Supervise the use of lifting equipment and forklift trucks to move raw materials and store finished goods in the warehouse.

3. Quality Control & Safety

• Inspection: Conduct basic quality checks and testing at various stages of the production cycle.

• Warehousing: Ensure all raw materials and finished products are stored properly to prevent damage or contamination.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with workplace safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or SSCE/WAEC certificate.

• Proven Tenure: 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of production machinery and manufacturing safety protocols.

Core Competencies

• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to address machine errors and process bottlenecks.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to report technical issues and provide training to new team members.

• Resilience: A positive attitude and the willingness to work overtime as production schedules require.
