Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic, commercially savvy, and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to optimize our supply chain operations in Ikeja. You will be the primary architect of our vendor partnerships and the key guardian of our bottom line. This is a high-impact role for a professional who understands that effective procurement is not just about purchasing, but about building resilient supply chains, negotiating advantageous terms, and fostering a culture of cost-efficiency. If you have a sharp eye for market trends, a talent for negotiation, and the leadership to streamline our spend, we want you to drive our procurement strategy.

Requirements:

• Strategic Sourcing & Partnerships: Proactively discover and vet profitable suppliers, initiating long-term partnerships that align with our quality and cost objectives.

• Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead high-stakes negotiations to secure optimal terms. Examine and test existing contracts to ensure they continue to serve the company’s best interests.

• Operational Oversight: Approve and finalize all purchase orders and delivery details. Maintain full visibility over the procurement lifecycle to ensure goods and services are procured on time and to specification.

• Risk & Data Management: Utilize data analysis to foresee market alterations, manage supply chain risks, and build contingency strategies for unfavorable events.

• Performance Metrics: Track and report on key procurement metrics (KPIs). Continually assess effectiveness to reduce organizational expenses.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal department heads to ensure absolute clarity on technical specifications and service expectations.

• Cost Control Culture: Drive a company-wide commitment to cost savings and efficient spend control without compromising quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven, trackable experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, or Head of Procurement.
