Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join the FMR Agency team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our distribution network, ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and that our deliveries reach their destinations on time.

Requirements:

Fleet & Driver Coordination

  • Operations Support: Coordinate drivers to ensure timely, efficient, and safe delivery operations.

  • Dispatch Management: Assist in daily logistics planning, including the creation of dispatch schedules and route coordination.

  • Team Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between our drivers and the operations team, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Tracking & Documentation

  • Monitoring: Actively track deliveries and report any delays, route issues, or operational obstacles to management immediately.

  • Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all trips, fuel usage, and delivery activities.

  • Performance Oversight: Monitor driver attendance, performance, and compliance with company safety and operational policies.

Maintenance & Problem Solving

  • Operational Readiness: Assist in monitoring vehicle usage and scheduling essential maintenance to prevent downtime.

  • Troubleshooting: Support the resolution of day-to-day driver-related issues, escalating complex problems to the management team when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of an OND, HND, or BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, operations, or a similar field. Previous experience working directly with drivers or field staff is an added advantage.

  • Core Skills:

    • Organizational Mastery: You have a natural ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Communication: You can convey instructions clearly and handle feedback professionally.

    • Logistics Logic: A solid understanding of route planning, distribution processes, and fleet management.

    • Attention to Detail: You are highly accountable and ensure that all documentation is accurate and compliant.

Salary

N127,000 monthly
