Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Logistics Operations Specialist to report directly to the Logistics Operations Manager. In this role, you will be the backbone of our supply chain, ensuring the end-to-end movement of goods is seamless, cost-effective, and fully compliant with local and international trade regulations. Requirements:
End-to-End Logistics: Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, and track shipping container deposits to ensure timely refunds and cost optimization.
Regulatory Compliance & Customs: Review tax computations, manage the End-User Certificate (EUC) process, and maintain strict compliance with agencies like the NCC, NPA, and FAAN. You will be our primary trouble-shooter for customs valuation disputes and clearance delays.
Documentation Integrity: Oversee the accuracy of all shipping documents (HS codes, invoices, declarations) and manage data integrity within NetSuite (GRNs, PODs, purchase orders) to safeguard financial accuracy.
Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics suppliers and insurers, ensuring accountability and securing cost-effective terms that align with company policy.
Problem-Solving: Proactively address on-the-ground operational challenges, resolve billing discrepancies with third parties, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain continuity.
Performance Reporting: Deliver precise daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports to management, providing the data-driven insights needed for effective decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (CIPS, APICS) is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics/supply chain. Telecommunications industry experience is a significant advantage.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in Customs regulations, international trade compliance, and procurement principles.
Strong familiarity with logistics documentation and regulatory approval processes.
