Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to serve as the backbone of our project operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of procurement, transportation, warehousing, and asset control. Your primary mission is to ensure that all project supplies are sourced, stored, and distributed with precision, while maintaining strict compliance with organizational and donor policies. Requirements:

• Procurement Management: Lead the procurement lifecycle, including planning, preparing requests for quotations (RFQs), conducting bid analysis, and issuing purchase orders.

• Compliance Oversight: Ensure all procurement and logistics activities rigorously adhere to internal standards and specific donor-funded project requirements.

• Inventory & Warehousing: Manage the receipt, secure storage, and efficient distribution of project supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.

• Stock Control: Conduct regular physical stock counts and perform detailed inventory reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.

• Asset Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of organizational assets, including tagging, tracking, and coordinating routine maintenance to extend their operational life.

• Audit Readiness: Maintain impeccable records and documentation, providing full support for internal and external audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or procurement role, preferably within a donor-funded or project-based environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes (bidding, bid analysis, contract management).

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and data tracking tools.
