Job Description:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will manage our most valuable relationships—our high-GMV merchants, including large retail chains and franchises. You will be the primary point of contact for these partners, ensuring they leverage our solutions to their fullest potential while driving sustainable growth for both them and our business.

Requirements:
Relationship & Growth Management
Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at top-tier merchant organizations.
Driving Growth: Drive product usage, run successful campaigns, and ensure transaction growth across your portfolio.
Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to grow revenue by introducing additional products or services (e.g., loyalty programs, strategic promotions, or tech integrations).
Operational & Data Excellence
Merchant Success: Monitor merchant performance, provide data-backed optimization strategies, and ensure your merchants remain competitive.
Technical Collaboration: Partner with our internal Product and Tech teams to manage custom integrations and solve complex technical needs for our clients.
Operational Integrity: Handle escalations effectively, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are met with precision and speed.
Actionable Insights: Analyze transaction data to provide actionable business insights that help merchants improve their bottom line.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, B2B Sales, or Relationship Management, preferably in the fintech, e-commerce, or retail sectors.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to manage high-value portfolios and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis. You are comfortable interpreting transaction data to build business cases for your clients.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills. You can communicate effectively with C-suite executives and technical teams alike.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to handling escalations and finding creative solutions to technical or operational hurdles.
