Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Finance & Treasury Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will be the guardian of our company’s financial health, responsible for liquidity management, deposit pricing, and maintaining robust financial controls.

Requirements:

Treasury & Liquidity Management

  • Cash Flow Oversight: Manage daily cash positions, perform bank reconciliations, and handle disbursements to ensure we always have the liquidity required for operations.

  • Deposit Strategy: Price and structure deposits in line with our approved rate cards, approve deposit tenors, and manage rollover terms.

  • ALM Discipline: Maintain strict Asset Liability Management (ALM) discipline and ensure loan disbursements are perfectly matched with funding maturities.

Financial Reporting & Control

  • Reporting: Prepare management accounts and ensure all regulatory reports are accurate and submitted on time.

  • Expense Monitoring: Keep a close eye on company expenses and enforce budget controls to ensure we stay within our financial targets.

  • Registry Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date deposit register.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 4–7 years of professional experience in finance, treasury, or banking operations. Experience in a finance company or lending institution is a significant advantage.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

    • Deep understanding of deposit pricing models and ALM (Asset Liability Management) principles.

    • Solid accounting and reconciliation capabilities.

  • Personal Attributes: You possess a strong control mindset, unquestionable integrity, and the ability to maintain composure while managing complex financial risks.
