Job Description:

In this role, you will be the backbone of our supply chain, maintaining accurate records, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring that our products are handled and stored efficiently. This is a critical position for someone who excels at audits, reconciliation, and data management.

Requirements:

• Stock Oversight: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while preventing overstock or stockouts.

• Movement Tracking: Accurately record and track all stock movements, including incoming shipments, internal transfers, sales, and customer returns.

• Auditing & Reconciliation: Conduct routine physical stock counts and investigate/reconcile any discrepancies to ensure record accuracy.

• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management, highlighting stock trends, slow-moving items, or damaged products.

• Quality Control: Monitor for expired or damaged items and ensure strict compliance with company inventory policies and storage procedures.

• Audit Support: Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external audits related to inventory management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience working as an Inventory Officer, Storekeeper, or in a similar supply chain role.

• Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of inventory management practices, excellent record-keeping skills, and high attention to detail.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel).

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Location Requirement: Must reside in close proximity to Tradefair.
