Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Officer to join our team in Gwarinpa, Abuja. As the guardian of our stock levels and procurement efficiency, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations never face downtime due to shortages. You will be responsible for sourcing quality supplies at the best possible prices, maintaining rigorous control over inventory records, and ensuring that our procurement processes are accurate and cost-effective. If you have a sharp eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and a background in restaurant or hospitality inventory management, we invite you to help us optimize our stock operations.

Requirements:

• Stock Management: Oversee the end-to-end inventory control process, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking stock items.

• Procurement Strategy: Source high-quality supplies from reliable vendors while negotiating the best market prices to optimize operational costs.

• Inventory Audits: Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain 100% accuracy in stock records.

• Supplier Relations: Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Reporting: Generate timely inventory reports, including low-stock alerts, usage trends, and expenditure summaries to support management decision-making.

• Compliance: Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols during the storage and handling of food and non-food items.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management within a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.
