Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our stock records. In this role, you will be the custodian of our inventory, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and issued with precision. You will play a vital role in preventing stock discrepancies, monitoring reorder levels, and ensuring that our operations have the supplies they need exactly when they are required.

Requirements:

• Stock Monitoring: Maintain real-time records of all inventory levels. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them against system data.

• Receiving & Issuing: Oversee the receipt of new stock, ensuring it meets quality standards, and manage the accurate issuance of goods to relevant departments.

• Documentation: Prepare accurate inventory reports, including movement logs, delivery notes, and stock adjustment records.

• Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain robust security measures to prevent stock pilferage, damage, or loss.

• Reordering: Monitor stock levels and alert management when reorder points are reached to prevent operational downtime due to shortages.

• Organization: Ensure the warehouse/storage area is clean, organized, and optimized for easy access and safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of an OND qualification.

• Core Competencies:

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to track numbers and identify discrepancies.

  • Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple categories of stock simultaneously.

  • Numerical Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and data entry.

  • Reliability: A high level of integrity and honesty in handling company assets.

  • Communication: Ability to provide clear status updates to the management team.
