INVENTORY OFFICER AT ECONATION

Job Description:

• Record Keeping:

  Maintain and update detailed and accurate records of all inventory transactions and movements using computerized systems. 

• Auditing & Reconciliation:

  Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory audits, identify discrepancies between physical counts and records, and resolve variances. 

• Reporting:

  Prepare inventory reports for management, providing insights into stock levels, trends, and any identified issues. 

• Process Improvement:

  Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. 

• Disposal:

  Manage the process of removing surplus, obsolete, or damaged stock. 

• Coordination:

  Work closely with procurement, production, and warehousing teams to ensure efficient and synchronized inventory flow. 

• Stock Management:

  Oversee the daily management of inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and preventing shortages or excess stock. 

• Receiving & Dispatch:

  Manage the process of receiving goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and preparing items for dispatch. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in warehouse supervisory
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance
