Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Officer to join our team in Ikeja. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of our stock—from vendor reception to final dispatch. You will ensure the precision of our inventory database, manage internal reconciliations, and provide data-driven insights that optimize our supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

• Inventory Receiving: Manage the daily intake of materials from diverse vendors, ensuring quality and quantity compliance.

• Dispatch Logistics: Oversee the accurate loading and dispatch of materials to various branches and direct vendor clients.

• Database Management: Maintain a flawless, real-time inventory database and spreadsheet system to track all material movements.

• Reconciliation & Reporting: Conduct regular reconciliations between site inventory and head office records to identify and resolve discrepancies. Prepare comprehensive analytical reports on stock levels, turnover, and movement trends.

• Operational Excellence: Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment, adapting quickly to evolving operational priorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Electronics/Computer/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehousing roles.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite (with a focus on Excel for data analysis).

• Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with cross-functional internal teams and external suppliers.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
