Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Human Resources Manager to architect and lead our people strategy within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will balance operational excellence with strategic workforce planning.

The ideal candidate will act as a "Force Multiplier" for the organization—aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive high performance, maintaining industrial harmony through expert knowledge of Nigeria Labour Laws, and managing the complexities of a manufacturing workforce. If you have 5–10 years of experience and a proven track record of driving results, we invite you to lead our HR function.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment

  • Strategy Architect: Develop and implement HR strategies that directly contribute to organizational success and long-term business objectives.

  • Fiscal Stewardship: Manage HR budgeting and forecasting, ensuring optimal resource allocation for personnel and developmental needs.

  • Executive Advisory: Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing data-backed insights on workforce trends and structural improvements.

2. Performance, Development & Talent Acquisition

  • High-Performance Systems: Design and manage performance management systems that foster accountability and drive productivity across the factory floor and administrative units.

  • Talent Orchestration: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment and selection process, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent for specialized manufacturing roles.

  • L&D Strategy: Identify skill gaps and spearhead training and development programs that enhance technical competencies and leadership depth.

3. Operational Integrity & Industrial Relations

  • Labour Law Mastery: Ensure 100% compliance with Nigeria Labour Laws, managing employee grievances and disciplinary procedures with fairness and legal precision.

  • Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise HR personnel and lead people operations specifically tailored to a manufacturing setup (shift management, safety culture, and shop-floor relations).

  • Rewards & Data: Manage compensation structures and HR database integrity to ensure equitable pay and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. (A Master’s degree is a distinct advantage).

  • Experience: 5 – 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a mandatory background in a manufacturing setup.

  • Certification: Membership of CIPM and/or PHRi/SPHRi is highly desirable.

  • Age: Must not be more than 45 years of age at the time of application.

  • Industrial Relations: Deep understanding of managing blue-collar and white-collar workforce dynamics.

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to link HR metrics to the company's bottom line.
