Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic Talent & Performance Lead to architect the human capital systems of our growing healthcare organization. In this high-impact role, you will move beyond administrative HR to focus on talent strategy, workforce planning, and reward frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the high-performing professionals necessary to deliver world-class healthcare services.

The ideal candidate is a proactive "headhunter" by nature and a strategic designer by trade, capable of building talent pipelines and performance cultures from the ground up.

Requirements:

Talent Strategy & Workforce Architecture

  • Strategic Acquisition: Develop and execute sophisticated talent acquisition strategies, utilizing market mapping and proactive headhunting to secure top-tier clinical and administrative talent.

  • Workforce Planning: Partner with executive leadership on organizational design and workforce planning to ensure staffing levels align with our long-term growth and clinical needs.

  • Employer Branding: Lead initiatives to strengthen our brand identity, positioning the organization as the premier employer of choice within the Nigerian healthcare sector.

Performance & Succession Management

  • Framework Design: Lead the implementation of a robust performance management framework that embeds accountability and continuous feedback into the daily workflow.

  • Career Pathing: Drive annual talent reviews and succession planning, ensuring clear career trajectories for high-potential employees to minimize turnover in critical roles.

Compensation, Rewards & Insights

  • Reward Strategy: Support the development of equitable and competitive compensation structures tailored to the specific demands of the healthcare industry.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage HR analytics and insights to inform talent strategies, identifying trends that impact retention and organizational health.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Certification: Must hold a recognized professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a deep focus on talent strategy, performance management, and reward frameworks.

    • Proven track record in headhunting and building talent pipelines for specialized or executive roles.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Business Acumen: Ability to translate healthcare business objectives into actionable HR strategies.

    • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability in influencing and advising C-suite leadership and departmental heads.

    • Strategic Execution: The ability to not only design frameworks but also drive their adoption across the organization.
