You will be instrumental in shaping employee relations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a productive workplace culture. This is a senior-level position ideal for someone with deep expertise in the manufacturing or FMCG sectors who thrives on process improvement and strategic business partnering.
Requirements:
HR Strategy & Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, promotions, disciplinary processes, and exits.
Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to resolve workforce challenges, support planning, and boost overall team effectiveness.
Employee Relations: Oversee grievances, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution, maintaining a fair and positive work environment.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all HR activities align with Nigerian labour laws and internal company governance.
Data-Driven Insights: Develop HR dashboards and monitor key people metrics to inform decision-making.
Operational Management: Administer the deployment of contract/casual staff and lead initiatives to automate and improve HR processes.
Leadership: Coach and develop HR Business Partners across various Business Units (BUs).
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Certification: Must hold a professional HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent).
Experience: 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with specific expertise in HR Operations and Employee Relations.
Industry Background: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within Manufacturing, FMCG, Agribusiness, or Logistics.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Seamless HR is a significant advantage.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
