Requirements:
1. Factory Workforce Management
End-to-End Talent Cycle: Execute localized recruitment, onboarding, and attendance tracking to ensure the factory is always optimally staffed for production cycles.
Labor Compliance: Serve as the custodian of labor laws and factory regulations, ensuring all operations remain compliant with Nigerian statutes and company policies.
Staff Records & Payroll: Maintain meticulous employee records and provide accurate inputs for payroll, leave management, and welfare benefits.
2. Performance & Employee Relations
Productivity Governance: Support the performance management framework by tracking KPIs and facilitating the disciplinary process when necessary.
Liaison & Welfare: Act as the strategic bridge between management and factory staff, resolving grievances and ensuring employee welfare initiatives are effectively delivered.
Policy Dissemination: Ensure all factory workers clearly understand company codes of conduct and safety protocols.
3. Administrative & Facility Support
Operational Logistics: Oversee daily office administration, including logistics coordination and facility maintenance to support uninterrupted factory operations.
Procurement Support: Manage administrative supplies and external service providers to ensure the factory environment remains functional and professional.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive personnel data and management information with the highest level of integrity.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Background
Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of core HR/Admin experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in a manufacturing or agro-allied facility.
Tech Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is critical) and familiarity with basic HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Core Competencies
Factory Savvy: A deep understanding of the unique HR challenges in a factory setting (e.g., shift management, casual labor, health & safety).
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for managing diverse staff levels.
Proximity: Mandatory residency in or very close to Ogoja, Cross River State.
Resilience: Ability to work independently and maintain order in a high-activity environment.
