Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to serve as the chief operating executive for our real estate operations. This is a high-impact leadership role for a visionary strategist who can translate board objectives into tangible project deliveries, operational excellence, and sustained profitability. You will navigate the complexities of the Nigerian real estate market—from land acquisition and regulatory compliance to sales and facility management ensuring that our developments meet the highest standards of quality and financial return. Requirements:
Strategic Direction: Define and execute short-to-long-term strategic objectives, overseeing the entire business planning, budgeting, and performance management cycle.
Operational Oversight: Direct all functions, including property development, sales and leasing, facility management, and customer service.
Project & Land Management: Lead project delivery milestones and facilitate critical land acquisition, title documentation, and regulatory approvals.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Leadership: Serve as the company’s primary representative to government bodies (e.g., AGIS, FCDA, FCTA), investors, joint-venture partners, and contractors.
Business Growth: Identify and secure new investment opportunities and emerging markets to expand our footprint within the Nigerian real estate sector.
Performance Accountability: Monitor KPIs, enforce corporate policies, and take decisive action to ensure operational targets are met or exceeded.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. A postgraduate degree (MBA/MSc) is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/general management role within the real estate sector.
Professional Certification: ANIVS, NIS, PMP, or RICS certifications are highly advantageous.
