Job Description:

Osten Limited is seeking a visionary Environmental Manager to lead our Total Quality Assurance and Sustainability division. This is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the intersection of technical environmental science, regulatory compliance, and corporate sustainability.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of environmental studies, managing our state-of-the-art environmental laboratory, and driving ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) services for our diverse clientele. Requirements:

1. Environmental Consultancy & Regulatory Leadership

• Project Orchestration: Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of environmental studies, including Desktop Studies, Field Surveys, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).

• Regulatory Navigation: Oversee the approval process with local and international regulatory bodies, ensuring all client projects are compliant and environmentally sound.

• Policy Architecture: Develop and maintain rigorous environmental policies that align with evolving sustainability standards.

2. ESG & Sustainability Strategy

• ESG Integration: Oversee the delivery of ESG services, ensuring client projects meet global frameworks while promoting measurable sustainable practices.

• Carbon Management: Lead Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory reporting, utilizing recognized methodologies to help clients monitor and reduce their environmental footprint.

• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance on sustainability trends, regulatory shifts, and ESG risk mitigation.

3. Laboratory Oversight & Technical Mastery

• Laboratory Governance: Provide executive oversight for the environmental laboratory, ensuring high-quality testing, accurate data reporting, and adherence to the company's Quality Manual.

• Advanced Analysis: Conduct and supervise complex analytical procedures using high-precision equipment, including Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS).

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all laboratory operations comply with international management system processes (e.g., ISO 17025).

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in environmental management, with a strong focus on the Oil and Gas sector.

• Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading teams through the successful completion and approval of major environmental studies.

Core Competencies

• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of GC and GCMS for environmental analytical procedures.

• ESG Expertise: Demonstrated familiarity with GHG inventory reporting and international ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB).

• Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and environmental laboratory standards.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
