Job Description:

We are looking for a highly reliable and customer-focused Cashier to serve as the final point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions with precision, providing excellent service, and supporting our front-of-house operations. If you are an detail-oriented individual who excels in fast-paced environments like restaurants, lounges, or retail, this role is the perfect opportunity to contribute to our operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, card, and digital payments, ensuring all receipts are issued and transactions are logged correctly.

• Daily Reconciliation: Balance cash registers at the end of every shift and reconcile daily sales data to ensure complete financial accuracy.

• POS Management: Efficiently operate POS systems and various payment platforms, ensuring smooth check-out experiences for all customers.

• Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, professional, and courteous welcome to all guests, addressing any payment-related inquiries with clarity and patience.

• Financial Accountability: Maintain strict confidentiality and accountability regarding all cash handling. You will be the first to identify and report any discrepancies.

• Operational Support: Assist team members in restaurant, bar, or front-desk operations as needed while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workstation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a cashier or in a similar role. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, lounge, or retail operations is required.

• Technical Skills:

  • Basic accounting and numerical proficiency.

  • Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
