Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Travel Specialist / Travel Intern to join our team in Lagos. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the tourism industry, ranging from high-level package creation to the intricate logistics of trip execution.
As a Travel Specialist/Intern, you will be at the heart of our operations, supporting our senior consultants in delivering world-class travel experiences. You will gain hands-on experience in vendor management, visa processing, and market research, all while contributing to the strategic growth of our travel products.
Requirements:
Package Creation & Market Research
Product Design: Design innovative travel packages based on rigorous market research and current global industry trends.
Competitor Analysis: Research and report on the offerings of top competitors to ensure our packages remain high-value and unique.
Content Creation: Research, draft, and edit blog posts, news updates, and articles for our website and press releases.
Trip Execution & Logistics
Booking Support: Assist in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and specialized tours.
On-Ground Support: Provide logistical support for group tours and travel initiatives to ensure seamless execution.
Travel Documentation: Prepare and organize essential documents including itineraries, visa papers, and insurance.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Relationship Building: Support communication and build strong relationships with airlines, tourism boards, and hotels.
Liaison: Coordinate with vendors for confirmations, updates, and last-minute changes to client bookings.
Visa Assistance: Guide clients through visa requirements and assist in the collation of necessary documentation.
Customer Service & CRM
Client Support: Provide prompt responses to inquiries and resolve complaints or special requests professionally.
Feedback Collection: Manage post-travel follow-ups to collect client insights for service improvement.
CRM Management: Learn and apply industry-standard booking platforms and CRM software to manage leads and client tickets.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Current undergraduate or recent graduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
Interests: A deep-seated interest in travel operations, tour planning, and large-scale logistics.
Technical Skills:
Ability to conduct market research and translate data into travel packages.
Proficiency in drafting professional presentations for corporate partners and tourism boards.
Familiarity with digital content creation (articles/blogs).
