Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee truck maintenance and repairs, ensuring maximum fleet availability and minimal downtime.
• The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and experience managing workshops within a haulage or transport operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations, maintenance, and repairs of company trucks.
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
• Supervise mechanics and technicians and ensure the quality of repair work.
• Monitor spare parts usage, maintenance costs, and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
• Provide maintenance reports and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

• 5 – 8 years of experience in truck maintenance or workshop management.
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and haulage operations.
• Proven ability to manage technicians and workshop activities.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance planning and cost control.
• Ability to work under operational pressure and meet turnaround timelines.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks (engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems).
