Job Description:

We are seeking strong, reliable, and hardworking Warehouse Assistants to join our logistics team. This is a vital "Frontline" role designed for individuals who take pride in physical excellence and operational accuracy.

Your mission is to ensure the smooth flow of goods through our facility—from sorting incoming cargo to ensuring every truck is loaded safely and efficiently. If you are physically fit, punctual, and live within the Idimu-Ikotun area, we want you to help us move our business forward.

Requirements:

1. Physical Operations & Cargo Handling

  • Loading & Unloading: Manually lift and move cargo items (averaging 20–30kg) into and out of delivery trucks with speed and safety.

  • Sorting & Organizing: Categorize items based on weight, destination, or fragility to ensure the warehouse remains organized and easy to navigate.

  • Packing & Securing: Ensure all items are packed securely in boxes or crates to prevent damage during transit.

2. Accuracy & Quality Control

  • Inventory Verification: Use basic reading and writing skills to check labels and ensure the right items are loaded onto the correct trucks.

  • Damage Prevention: Handle all goods with care, identifying and reporting any damaged items before they leave the warehouse.

  • Space Optimization: Stack and arrange items in a way that maximizes warehouse space and ensures easy access for the team.

3. Discipline & Safety

  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for every shift to ensure loading schedules are met and delivery trucks depart as planned.

  • Site Safety: Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace by clearing aisles and following all safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

Physical & Professional Profile

  • Physical Fitness: Must be strong and capable of lifting heavy boxes (20–30kg) repeatedly throughout the day.

  • Education: Minimum of Secondary School (WAEC/SSCE) or equivalent.

  • Literacy: Must be able to read and write in basic English to manage cargo labels and simple documentation.

  • Age: Must be 20 years and above.

  • Location: Must reside within Idimu-Ikotun, Lagos State.

Core Competencies

  • Reliability: Hardworking, punctual, and committed to completing daily tasks.

  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in sorting and loading to prevent logistics errors.

  • Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
