Job Description:
Site Supervision & Technical Execution
Plan Interpretation: Read and apply architectural and structural drawings to guide daily on-site execution.
Setting-Out: Assist in setting-out, measurements, and basic surveying tasks to ensure the building footprint and levels are accurate.
Progress Monitoring: Provide daily on-site supervision to ensure all work follows approved specifications, schedules, and safety protocols.
Quality Control & Material Management
Inspections: Support routine quality checks for key stages, including reinforcement placement, concrete pouring (slump tests, cube casting), and finishing works.
Resource Tracking: Monitor material usage on-site to prevent wastage and liaise with procurement to report potential shortfalls or delivery delays.
Non-Conformance: Identify and report deviations from the approved plan, raising non-conformance reports for senior review.
Documentation & Reporting
Site Records: Maintain meticulous site logs, including daily progress reports, material delivery logs, site attendance sheets, and progress photography.
Communications: Prepare clear progress updates for site meetings and help coordinate subcontractors to maintain a smooth workflow.
Safety Enforcement: Actively enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures and environmental guidelines to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: * Ability to read and interpret complex structural and architectural blueprints.
Basic competence in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel is critical for material logs).
Willingness to learn project management and BIM software.
Core Skills: Good numeracy, strong attention to detail, and practical problem-solving abilities.
Behavioral Attributes
Team Player: Ability to take direction from senior engineers while effectively communicating with site laborers.
Resilience: Comfortable working in an outdoor construction environment and standing for extended periods.
Integrity: Honest reporting of site issues and material usage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience: 0–2 years of practical experience (Fresh graduates with strong internship/IT experience are encouraged to apply)
