Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and methodical Service Engineer to lead the installation, maintenance, and technical support of our precision instrumentation. This role is designed for a versatile engineer who is equally comfortable with mechanical assemblies and electronic control systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that critical industrial or laboratory equipment operates at peak performance through rigorous testing and international calibration standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can navigate complex technical diagnostics while providing professional, clear support to our diverse client base.
Requirements:
1. Lifecycle Engineering & Maintenance
Deployment: Lead the professional installation and commissioning of new electronic and mechanical instruments at client sites.
Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled service routines to minimize equipment downtime and extend the operational life of high-value assets.
Complex Repairs: Diagnose and resolve multifaceted system failures using advanced troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
2. Calibration & Metrology Excellence
Precision Testing: Conduct regular equipment testing to ensure measurements remain within specified tolerances.
Standardization: Perform meticulous calibration routines in alignment with industry-specific quality and safety standards.
Technical Support: Act as a subject matter expert, providing high-level technical guidance to internal teams and resolving client inquiries with precision.
3. Compliance & Documentation
Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to safety protocols and international quality standards.
Reporting: Utilize MS Word and other digital tools to maintain accurate service logs, calibration certificates, and technical documentation.
Team Synergy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide technical insights that enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Technical Edge
Academic: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or a related field).
Certification: Trade Test I in Instrument Mechanics work is a mandatory requirement.
Experience: Hands-on experience with industrial or laboratory equipment is highly advantageous.
Location: Must reside on the Lagos Mainland (Ikeja, Ogba, Iyana-Ipaja, Agege, or environs).

Diagnostics: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a "systems-thinking" approach to hardware and software faults.
Digital Literacy: Proficient in MS Office Suite for technical reporting and data entry.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
