Job Description:

• Accredited Training Delivery: Provide high-impact training in strict alignment with accrediting body requirements (OPITO, NEBOSH, IOSH, LEEA).

• Environment Readiness: Oversee the preparation of training rooms, simulators, and technical materials to ensure a seamless learning experience.

• Competency Assessment: Conduct rigorous assessments and provide detailed performance reports on theory and practical tests to the Competency Development Manager.

• Safety & Equipment Stewardship: Enforce stringent health, safety, and quality standards during all sessions. Ensure training equipment and tools are utilized safely and maintained in peak condition.

• Curriculum Development: Support the continuous improvement of training programs and maintain all presentation materials in standardized formats.

• Record Management: Maintain 100% accuracy in training records, attendance logs, and student assessment reports.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with management to identify organizational skill gaps and design targeted training interventions.

Requirements:

• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of offshore safety protocols and technical lifting/safety standards.

• Communication: Exceptional public speaking and classroom management skills.

• Analytical Reporting: Ability to translate practical student performance into objective competency reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed), Science (B.Sc), or a related technical field.

• Instructional Background: Minimum of 5 years of instructional or teaching experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Industrial Safety sectors.

• Technical Skills: Compulsory proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
