Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Showroom & Project Manager to lead showroom operations and manage the end-to-end delivery of modular home and furniture projects.
This role combines showroom management, sales leadership, and project management, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient project execution, and high-performing teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, hands-on project delivery experience, and the ability to coordinate designers, sales teams, suppliers, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Showroom & Sales Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of designers and sales representatives to achieve sales and operational targets
Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations
Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
Recruit top talent, provide ongoing training and development, and foster a high-performance showroom culture
Customer & Stakeholder Management:
Manage client relationships from initial showroom consultation through project completion and installation
Understand customer needs to deliver customised modular home and furniture solutions
Provide professional product, design, and layout recommendations
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution
Project Management & Delivery:
Oversee end-to-end project management, including quotations, design approvals, production planning, scheduling, and installation
Plan and allocate resources, materials, tools, and personnel to meet project timelines and budgets
Identify, anticipate, and resolve logistical, technical, or operational challenges
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Performance Tracking & Quality Assurance:
Track and analyse sales performance, project progress, and operational data
Use insights to optimise sales strategies and showroom operations
Implement and enforce quality control, safety standards, and company procedures
Maintain reporting, checklists, and regular reviews to drive continuous improvement and accountability
Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and consistently achieve sales targets and project delivery goals
Strong customer service and client management skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently
Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in CRM systems and project management software
Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel for site inspections and project installations

Work Environment:
Primarily showroom-based, with frequent on-site visits to customer locations
Dynamic retail environment with peak seasons and promotional periods
Collaborative workspace involving designers, sales teams, and project staff
Role requires standing for extended periods and occasional handling of showroom and display materials
Qualifications and Skills:
Desirable / Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ combined experience in showroom management and project coordination, preferably within furniture, interior design, or modular construction
Experience using AutoCAD, 3D rendering, or visualization tools
Background in franchise or multi-location retail operations
Knowledge of local building regulations, compliance requirements, and supply chain networks
Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (advantage)
