We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • The Senior Insurance Broker leads client relations and insurance placement activities, drives business development in the insurance sector, provides expert market guidance, and ensures compliance with industry standards while attaining the company’s growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for acquisition and retention of insurance clients. • Liaise with new and existing clients to understand risks and insurance needs.
  • Identify suitable insurance products and negotiate best terms with providers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance underwriters and partners.
  • Provide expert advice on all matters of insurance and risk management.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations/proposals to clients.
  • Ensure all documentation and policy placement meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Track claims progress and support clients through the claims process.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and new insurance products
  • Drive sales targets and expand professional network for new business opportunities.
  • Assist in compliance and reporting to all relevant regulatory agencies. • Escalate compliance or risk issues as appropriate.
  • Observe and implement HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) requirements per company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Insurance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIIN, ACII) preferred.
  • MBA is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 12 years cognate experience in insurance brokerage with proven track record of successful placements and client management.
  • Good working knowledge of insurance products for corporate and individual client.
  • Proven experience managing major insurance accounts.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving: Capability to identify needs and develop real-world solutions.

Salary

N1,000,000 Annually
