Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary Senior DevOps Engineer to serve as the primary architect of our bank’s entire cloud ecosystem. In the fintech sector, infrastructure is not just a utility, it is a regulatory fortress and a performance engine. This role is designed for a "Platform Pioneer", a professional with 8+ years of experience who can build production, staging, and development environments from the ground up while ensuring 100% compliance with global financial security standards.

Your mission is to engineer a "Self-Healing" platform. You will be responsible for the entire infrastructure lifecycle: from designing scalable cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes orchestration to implementing DevSecOps frameworks and automated CI/CD pipelines. If you possess a startup execution mindset and the technical depth to lead a mission-critical banking platform toward high availability and disaster recovery readiness, we want you to build our foundation.

Requirements:

1. Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Scalable Foundations: Design and deploy high-availability banking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring multi-region disaster recovery readiness.

• Declarative Provisioning: Establish Terraform or Ansible frameworks to manage infrastructure as code, eliminating manual configuration drift and optimizing cost efficiency.

• Environment Governance: Build and maintain isolated Production, Staging, and Dev environments that mirror each other for seamless deployment testing.

2. CI/CD Automation & Release Velocity

• Pipeline Engineering: Architect automated pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to enable secure, high-frequency application deployments.

• Deployment Reliability: Standardize operational workflows to improve release speed while maintaining the "Five-Nines" uptime required for financial transactions.

• Configuration Management: Automate the provisioning of server-side dependencies and application environments to support rapid engineering productivity.

3. Container Orchestration & DevSecOps

• Kubernetes Mastery: Deploy and manage containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring robust orchestration, service discovery, and load balancing.

• Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices, enforcing encryption, access control (IAM), and audit logging to meet stringent fintech regulatory standards.

• Observability & SRE: Deploy Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack for real-time monitoring and logging; conducting deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) for any production incidents.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Cloud/DevOps certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are highly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience, with a proven track record of building cloud infrastructure from scratch.

• Fintech Expertise: Prior experience in banking, fintech, or high-availability platforms is a major competitive advantage.

Technical Stack Proficiency

• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (Production Grade).

• IaC: Terraform, Ansible.

• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.

• Web/Network: Nginx, Load Balancers, DNS, and SSL configuration.
