Job Description:

1. Financial Reporting & Ledger Management

• Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and other critical financial reports in accordance with IFRS/local standards.

• Journal Integrity: Post and process all journal entries to ensure every business transaction is captured with 100% accuracy.

• AP/AR Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements and collections.

2. Reconciliations & Compliance

• Daily Oversight: Conduct daily reconciliation of all business transactions to maintain real-time financial clarity.

• Banking & Treasury: Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations on both a weekly and monthly basis.

• Policy Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with internal financial policies and national regulatory standards.

3. FX Operations & Strategic Analysis

• Currency Management: Manage FX-related transactions and operations, leveraging knowledge of FX Arbitrage to support the company’s financial positioning.

• Analytical Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly insights that help management understand cash flow and operational performance.

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel: Mastery of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Financial Modeling) is essential.

• FX Knowledge: Strong understanding of FX operations and arbitrage is a significant advantage.

• Location: Must be a current resident of Lagos.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional Qualification: Mandatory ICAN or ACCA certification (or equivalent professional body).

• Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar corporate accounting role.
