Job Description:
We are seeking a high-precision Accounts Trade Finance & Treasury Specialist to serve as the strategic link between our internal financial operations and global banking partners. In an international trade environment, the "Flow of Capital" is just as critical as the "Flow of Goods." This role is designed for a "Financial Strategist", a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience who can master the complexities of Letters of Credit (LCs) while simultaneously driving corporate audit readiness.
Your mission is to safeguard the organization’s liquidity and compliance. You will be responsible for the entire financial lifecycle: from managing multi-million dollar export trade instruments and maintaining Tier-1 banking relationships to assisting the CFO with board-level management reports. If you possess the analytical grit to optimize working capital and the technical depth to navigate sanctioned market regulations, we want you to lead our treasury and trade functions.
Requirements:
1. Trade Finance & Risk Mitigation
Instrument Architecture: Manage, monitor, and analyze export trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby LCs, Bonds, and Guarantees.
Global Compliance: Act as the primary gatekeeper for financial transaction regulations, ensuring strict adherence to compliance for restricted or sanctioned markets.
Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate with banks, buyers, and suppliers to ensure the timely issuance of financial security, receipt of payments, and seamless delivery of goods.
2. Treasury Governance & Banking Diplomacy
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain high-level partnerships with banking institutions to ensure optimal credit facilities and support for the company.
Capital Optimization: Identify process improvements to eliminate settlement delays and positively impact the organization's working capital and cash flow.
Automated Systems: Support the implementation of automated tracking and issuance processes via advanced banking and treasury platforms.
3. Advanced Accounting & Audit Readiness
Executive Reporting: Assist the CFO in the architectural preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for senior leadership.
Audit Stewardship: Prepare and provide all critical financial documents—including trial balances and supporting schedules—to ensure seamless external audits.
Statutory Compliance: Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure the 100% accurate completion of tax returns, statutory filings, and payroll activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Certification: Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CITN are mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a specific focus on Trade Finance or Treasury Management.
Core Competencies
Technical Mastery: Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and professional accounting software (ERP).
Regulatory Depth: Deep understanding of financial controls, international trade regulations (UCP 600), and statutory compliance.
Communication Mastery: Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to align financial objectives.
