Job Description:

We are seeking an elite Restaurant Manager to steward the guest experience at our premium fine dining establishment. This is a high-stakes leadership role for a seasoned hospitality professional who understands the nuance, precision, and relentless consistency required in upscale dining. You will be the bridge between ownership, the kitchen, and our discerning clientele ensuring that every service is a masterclass in hospitality. This is not an entry-level position; we require a proven track record of managing full-service, fine-dining operations.

Requirements:

  • Front-of-House Leadership: Orchestrate all floor operations to ensure seamless, world-class service. You will define the standards for conduct, presentation, and service flow.

  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a professional service team. You will hold your staff to exacting standards and foster a culture of excellence.

  • Guest Relations: Serve as the face of the restaurant for our high-value clientele. Handle complex guest requests, complaints, and VIP interactions with absolute discretion and professionalism.

  • Financial Stewardship: Partner directly with ownership and the finance team to oversee the P&L. You will manage budgeting, cost control, revenue reporting, and payroll optimization.

  • Inventory & Procurement: Take ownership of F&B costs, stock management, and high-level supplier negotiations to ensure both quality and profitability.

  • Kitchen Liaison: Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure synchronized timing, consistent menu knowledge, and impeccable plating standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience in fine dining or upscale, full-service restaurants. Experience on Lagos Island is highly preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of food and wine service standards, POS systems, and operational reporting software.

  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze P&L statements, and control labor and food costs effectively.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Detail-Oriented: A fanatical attention to detail that extends from the table setting to the end-of-month financial report.

    • Leadership: A natural leader who can motivate staff during high-pressure services while maintaining a calm, authoritative demeanor.

    • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills—able to navigate the needs of diverse guests and communicate operational goals clearly to ownership.

₦500,000 - ₦750,000/month
