Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and authoritative Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility in Jabi, Abuja. As the primary point of contact during your shifts, you will be responsible for balancing operational efficiency with staff management and customer satisfaction. This is a critical leadership role for someone who is excellent at multitasking, comfortable enforcing company policy, and passionate about maintaining a high-quality environment.

Requirements:

• Performance & Financial Oversight: Track progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Monitor revenue and cash flow, providing reports to ensure the business remains financially healthy.

• Team Leadership & Development: Hire and train new staff, schedule shifts, and conduct regular check-ins to monitor employee satisfaction. Address performance issues and complaints promptly to maintain a productive culture.

• Operational Excellence: Assess and improve internal processes and policies. Coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of the facility to ensure it meets our quality standards.

• Customer & Security Management: Act as the final point of escalation for customer complaints. Oversee the total security of the facility to ensure the safety of our staff, guests, and assets.

• Budgeting & Strategy: Assist upper management in departmental budget creation and meet regularly with leadership to stay aligned on company-wide objectives.

• Policy Enforcement: Serve as a guardian of company standards, ensuring all policies are upheld consistently across the department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage staff, handle conflict, and foster a positive workplace culture.

• Analytical Skills: Comfortable monitoring financial reports, cash flow, and operational metrics.

• Decision-Making: The ability to handle customer issues and operational emergencies with calmness and authority.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal skills for interacting with staff, management, and customers.

• Organization: Expert-level scheduling skills and the ability to manage multifaceted operational tasks simultaneously.
