Your mission is to ensure the absolute integrity of our site’s financial health. If you possess the "Warehouse Grit" to work a full Monday to Saturday schedule (including public holidays) and the computer literacy to manage complex digital records, we want you to manage our Port Harcourt accounts.
Requirements:
1. Operational Bookkeeping & Ledger Management
Daily Transaction Integrity: Manage and record all daily financial inflows and outflows, ensuring every transaction is backed by verifiable documentation.
General Ledger Stewardship: Maintain the Chart of Accounts and General Ledger, ensuring that all warehouse-related expenses are categorized accurately.
Payables & Receivables: Oversee the "Cash-to-Order" cycle, managing vendor payments and tracking customer receivables to optimize working capital.
2. Reconciliation & Site-Based Controls
Inventory-to-Cash Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations between physical warehouse stock movements and financial records to identify and eliminate leakages.
Bank & Cash Management: Conduct frequent bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash disbursements, ensuring zero variance between system balances and physical cash.
Internal Control Enforcement: Implement and monitor site-based financial controls to prevent fraud and minimize administrative errors.
3. Compliance, Tax & Audit Support
Statutory Adherence: Ensure 100% compliance with local and federal tax regulations, including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and PAYE.
Regulatory Reporting: Prepare timely financial reports for management, highlighting site performance, budget variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
Audit Stewardship: Maintain an "Always-Ready" filing system to support internal and external audit exercises, providing all necessary schedules and documentation.
