Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing Relationship Manager to serve as a strategic partner to our corporate clientele. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate relationships—from identifying high-value opportunities and structuring complex credit proposals to managing risk and maximizing wallet share. You will act as the primary liaison between the Bank and industry leaders in sectors such as Energy, Fintech, and FMCG. The ideal candidate combines sophisticated financial analysis with the networking prowess required to navigate the complex decision-making hierarchies of multinational corporations and large local conglomerates.
Requirements:
1. Portfolio Origination & Business Development
Strategic Growth: Proactively originate new corporate relationships within specialized industry divisions, leveraging market intelligence to identify "blue-chip" opportunities.
Solution Engineering: Design and deliver tailored banking solutions—including Trade Finance, Treasury, and Cash Management—that align with the client’s capital structure and operational needs.
Market Presence: Maintain a high-profile presence within your assigned sector to drive brand visibility and top-of-mind awareness for the Bank.
2. Credit Structuring & Risk Governance
Credit Architecture: Structure and present robust credit proposals that align with the Bank’s risk appetite while meeting the complex financing needs of corporate borrowers.
Financial Diagnostics: Conduct deep-dive financial analysis, including cash flow modeling and sensitivity analysis, to evaluate the viability of credit requests.
Asset Quality: Proactively monitor the portfolio to identify early warning signals and mitigate credit risks, ensuring a healthy Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio.
3. Financial Stewardship & Revenue Optimization
Wallet Share Maximization: Drive revenue growth through cross-selling the Bank’s full suite of products, optimizing both fee-based and interest income.
Balance Sheet Management: Manage the asset-liability profile of the assigned portfolio to ensure optimal liquidity and profitability (Net Interest Margin).
Compliance & KYC: Enforce absolute adherence to AML/CFT guidelines and regulatory requirements, ensuring 100% KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance across all corporate accounts.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic: B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Tenure: 4 – 10 years of relevant experience specifically within Corporate Banking.
Track Record: Proven ability to manage a high-value portfolio and meet aggressive revenue and deposit targets.
Core Competencies
Credit Acumen: Expert knowledge of credit origination, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with internal product teams (Trade, Treasury, Digital Banking) to deliver integrated solutions.
