Job Description:

We are seeking a professionally poised and highly organized Receptionist to anchor our front-of-house operations in Uyo. In the hospitality and service industry, success is defined by "The First Impression", the ability to welcome guests with warmth while maintaining the technical precision required for check-ins, order processing, and transaction security. This role is designed for a "Front Office Ambassador" who can blend "Exceptional Communication" with the "Attention to Detail" required to manage confidential guest data.

Your mission is to ensure "Seamless Guest Transitions and Accurate Information Governance." You will be the central point of contact: responsible for the guest lifecycle from check-in to check-out, managing telecommunications, and maintaining high-fidelity records of all transactions. Requirements:

1. Guest Lifecycle & Order Management

  • Check-In Excellence: Facilitate the seamless check-in of prospective guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and accurate room/service allocation.

  • Order Orchestration: Promptly process guest orders for services or amenities, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.

  • Telecommunications Hub: Respond to all incoming calls with professional diplomacy, providing information and redirecting inquiries as necessary.

2. Information Governance & Record Keeping

  • Guest Intelligence: Maintain accurate and confidential guest reports, ensuring that preferences and information are updated in real-time.

  • Financial Fidelity: Keep meticulous records of all transactions and operational events occurring during the shift to ensure audit readiness.

  • Daily Reporting: Compile shift reports that summarize check-ins, guest feedback, and any notable incidents for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in computer systems for data entry and record-keeping.

  • Location: Must be resident in or able to commute to Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
